It is one of our roles, at K9Assistance, to reach out and educate the many PWDs who can benefit from Assistance Dogs. Who are we?

We believe that Assistance Dogs will improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and enable them to lead life to the fullest.

K9Assistance Limited is a registered charity that promotes the use and acceptance of Assistance Dogs for people with disabilities in Singapore.

We envision a Singapore where People with Disabilities can live a more dignified, independent life.

Matching people with disabilities with Assistance Dogs

Your donation will help fund the training and provision of internationally accredited Assistance Dogs to clients on our expressions of interest list in the near future.

We conduct a one-on-one assessment for each of our interested clients to understand their daily needs. This enables us to identify the most suitable Assistance Dog to be matched with them.

Every Assistance Dog goes through extensive training to ensure that they not only have excellent public behavior, but more importantly are equipped to mitigate their handler’s disability.

This takes a lot of time and resources. We appreciate all the help we can get to sponsor the process of training up these Assistance Dogs to provide their future handlers with a more dignified and independent  life.

You can make a difference to the lives of many who desire independence with the help of Assistance Dogs

If you would like to apply to be matched with an Assistance Dog, please email us or call us

Providing education and advocacy programmes

Assistance Dogs are relatively new to Singapore, and we know that not everyone is familiar with the life-changing work that they do for their disabled handlers.

K9Assistance continuously runs programmes centered around people with disabilities and Assistance Dogs. Education is of upmost importance in society.

We conduct engagement sessions with different organizations, businesses and schools to create awareness to the benefits of Assistance Dogs. Through these sessions, we hope to create a chain-effect of messages being shared by word-of-mouth.

We currently offer educational talks customized for:
  • Organisations that help people with disabilities

  • Corporations

  • Schools

Give The Gift Of Dignity

An Assistance Dog team walking on the pavement.

Fund an Assistance Dog

An Assistance Dog takes up to 2 years to train in a professional training facility, and each dog requires a multitude of resources such as kennelling facility and care, specialised equipment, veterinary care, and many man-hours of training from an accredited trainer to help them learn crucial assistive tasks.

We plan to provide these dogs at “no cost” to People with Disabilities. Your donations will transform their lives unimaginably, unlocking their freedom and potential.

Fund a month of operations

At K9Assistance, we are committed to spending every cent prudently, such that all our efforts go into advocacy and providing life-changing Assistance Dogs for the disabled.

As a commitment to our donors, we will periodically update our activities in our newsletters.

How can you help?

Your donation is vital to help us continue our work

As a registered charity with the Commissioner of Charities, Singapore, we are committed to upholding the trust placed in us. A little goes a long way, and the team at K9Assistance is grateful for any donation that will enable us to carry out our mission.

Every donation goes a long way! Your donations go towards enabling us to conduct our advocacy and education campaigns, in reaching out to and working with our different stakeholders.

You can also be directly involved with improving the lives of Persons with Disabilities through your donations! With your help, we can match Assistance Dogs to Persons with Disabilities.

Every Assistance Dog goes through extensive training before they are ready to be matched to their respective handlers, which require a lot of time and resources.

Thank you for being the helping hands to provide helping paws for Persons with Disabilities.

Together, we can create a more inclusive Singapore where Persons with Disabilities can lead more independent lives through the help of Assistance Dogs.

From the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful for your kind donations.  We hope that you will continue to support us on our journey to enable lives and promote inclusivity.
